About

Amy

I realised early on that I needed an outlet that quenched my thirst for creativity. Makeup became a way for me to express myself in a fulfilling way. Not only do I have the opportunity to make people feel special, but I can be creative while doing it.

I draw inspiration from the world around me – everything from fine art to nature. It’s easy to stay inspired when you realise that every client is unique. It’s important to me to take the time to understand my clients, as well as understand how they perceive themselves. And based on that, I not only create a look that they are comfortable with, but one that may allow them to see themselves in a new light.

My philosophy is that while good makeup and hairstyling can make you feel like a runway model, it’s all temporary, and it doesn’t define who you really are. So, let’s have a little fun with it and push the boundaries! I love to tailor looks to suit every person’s needs. Allow me to create a look that elevates your brand and natural beauty.

“With makeup we can redefine beauty standards. The aim is not to hide flaws, but rather to enhance natural beauty and best features.” – Amy Tourell
